Women in Music Miami Chapter invites (10-15) to a special screening of Amazon MGM Studios' new film MÚSICA, starring Rudy Mancuso and Camila Mendes. The screening will take place on Wednesday, March 27 at 7:30pm ET at Regal South Beach, followed by an after-party at the Rooftop Cinema Club that will feature a special performance from Rudy Mancuso.
Inspired by Rudy Mancuso’s own life, MÚSICA tells the story of Rudy, a young Brazilian American grappling with synesthesia, a neurological condition where one sense triggers an experience in another. In Rudy's case, sounds in his daily life are involuntarily translated into rhythms and beats. This condition, interestingly, is shared by several accomplished artists, including Billy Joel, Billie Eilish, and Pharrell Williams. You can watch the vibrant trailer for MÚSICA HERE.
