Renata Loyola is an intellectual property lawyer working in the music industry for over a decade, being based in Mexico since 2017. She has negotiated all types of contracts in the creative sector, and has led various teams in companies like Claro Musica, Spotify and Universal Music. Prior to joining YouTube, she was the Executive General Manager of the Mexican PRO, EMMACSACM, and, last year accepted the honorable invitation to lead the Music Publishing team in YouTube. Renata is now responsible for negotiating licensing agreements, and, most importantly, is focused on supporting the songwriters and producers community, bringing them into the spotlight on YouTube's multi-format platform across LATAM and US Latin.
Gabi Nuñez is a Manager of Music Publishing Partnerships at YouTube. Her love for music began at a very young age and led her to Florida State University where she performed clarinet in classical ensembles, performed as a member of the drumline in the FSU marching band, and earned her degree in Audio Engineering and Music Business.
From ASCAP to Kobalt, Gabi has held music publishing roles with one goal in mind: advocating for music creators, particularly songwriters and music producers.
At YouTube, she helps in the negotiation and execution of YouTube music publishing licensing agreements and partner management with rights holders throughout Latin America. In addition to this, Gabi strives to continue her efforts of advocating and helping music creators by creating a community of songwriters and producers who can feel at home at YouTube and by raising awareness of the numerous ways that YouTube can be utilized to get your music on the map and build your fanbase.
