WIM Denver Gives Back | Day of Community Service

WIM DENVER GIVES BACK 

You're invited to join us for a day of community service on May 1st, 2022.

Girls Inc. of Metro Denver (GIMD) inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold. And that’s something that Women in Music, Denver can get behind. Together we envision a world in which every girl values her whole self, discovers her inner strengths, and achieves her goals, and we’re inviting you - our Women in Music community - to join us in a day of community service.

GIMD offers comprehensive programs to a diverse group of more than 2,000 elementary, middle, and high school aged girls each year from the Metro Denver area. Through direct service, Girls Inc. of Metro Denver builds safe spaces and fosters long-term mentoring relationships for girls. 

Established in 2020, Women in Music - Denver is dedicated to fostering equality in the music industry through the support and advancement of women. Providing knowledge, strategy & solutions to our members and the greater community is our driving purpose.

Potential tasks for this day of community service include arranging supplies, cleaning vehicles and buildings, assembling furniture and so forth. Physical activity will be involved and volunteers are encouraged to bring water, a mask (required) and a hat. 

Volunteering strengthens your community, and gives you a chance to give back. This particular initiative also provides an opportunity for the WIM, Denver community to bring our members together - all while promoting personal growth and self-esteem so all girls can thrive.
