You are invited to join us for an intimate conversation with the Tony-nominated Laura Bell Bundy as she talks about the inspiration behind her new single, “Get It Girl You Go,”  which explores how women “do it all.”

“Get It Girl You Go,” which features Anika Noni Rose (Dreamgirls, and voice of Tiana, the first Black Disney princess in The Princess and the Frog) and Shoshana Bean (Broadway star and recording artist), will be released via ONErpm on August 14th. 

About Laura Bell Bundy:

Originally from KY, Laura Bell Bundy debuted at Radio City Music Hall when she was 9 Years old in the Christmas Spectacular. As an adult, she originated the role of Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray on Broadway & Elle Woods in Legally Blonde on Broadway, for which she was nominated for a Tony Award. Bundy was a Recording Artist with UMG (2009-2012) & Big Machine (2013-2015) and is now independent through OneRPM. In addition to being a Billboard Top 5 country artist, she was also an EMI/Sony ATV writer From 2009-2015. Her songs have been featured in various prime time & cable TV shows and films. She has toured live shows all over the World and her TV appearances include over 100 episodes of regular characters on Hart of Dixie, How I Met Your Mother, Anger Management, and Good Behavior, among others. She is an Executive Producer and Creator of ‘Pushy Bitchy Naggy Whorey’ a women's history sketch comedy show. She is also the founder of the Double Standards Organization for the promotion of equal rights for women. Her musical focus is from the experience of being a woman and women’s rights which is evident in her next album titled Women of Tomorrow and will begin rolling out on August 14th.

Jennifer Newman Sharpe is an entertainment, intellectual property, and transactional business attorney, a serial entrepreneur, and an award winning advocate for gender equality. She works as General Counsel and Head of Business Affairs for ONErpm, a leading digital distribution and artist services company and one of the largest YouTube networks in the world. In her private practice, she counseled clients spanning all areas of music, including record labels, publishing companies, artists, producers, writers, and tech start-ups. She serves as an advisory board member of Women in Music, after having served on the Board of Directors for nine years with five years as Vice President. Jennifer's entrepreneurial ventures include co-founding Cosynd, the collaborative contract creation and administration platform for artists, and Sparkplug, an online musical instrument rental marketplace, which was acquired by Fretish in early 2020. She is also an adjunct professor at the Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and a frequent speaker at leading industry conferences.
