  • 12 May 2016
  • BMI 250 Greenwich Street, 7 World Trade Center - New York

Back by popular demand, Women In Music presents its annual installment of Moms in Music, a panel discussion focusing on the joys and challenges of parenting while maintaining a career in the music industry. This panel is not just for moms, but for anyone thinking of having a family someday. Panelists will offer insight into balancing careers and personal lives and will candidly address the choices and compromises they’ve made along the way. In past years this panel has been soul-stirring and memorable for all involved. We hope you’ll join us for this year’s informative and inspiring discussion!

Topics that may be addressed include:

  • Time management – striking a balance
  • Maternity leave
  • Juggling priorities – when to ‘Lean In’ and when to lean back
  • Childcare choices
  • Telling your boss/clients/fans you’re expecting
  • Being a single mom in music
